ok so lets say my computer got stolen and i downloaded the zune software again on a new computer..............

when i sync it will all my songs on my zune be erased? Since all my songs were on my old computer? How can i prevent this? Thanks!

When you sync your new computer with the zune software, you are going to start out as if you have a new program. there is no way to say the tune, that are on your old computer.
