yeah...im a freshman so i know this is stupid...and i would have kicked her butt already, but im on probation so...theres this girl and she keeps calling me a lesbian..im not a lesbian..but everyone says i am because i am really close to one of my best friends, we are always together and they keep calling me a lesbian...So at first i didnt care i laughed along with them because they are stupid....but now they do things like yell "Skank" while im walking down the hallways....and they just sent me a message on facebook that says "SKANK-LESBIAN!!!!!"...so i told her she was nasty and she watched lesbian porn, (Because thats what a friend of mine who talks to her said), so im worried she might come try to kick my *** tomarrow and i can't get in anymore trouble, also, she is really big and could kill me.. So what should i do?

Go to school and walk straight into the guidance counselor's office. Explain the situation (you don't have to use names if you don't want). Someone needs to make sure that you aren't getting harrassed while you go to school. Someone should have already stopped the people yelling Skank etc... It's ridiculous you have to put up with this. If you don't trust your counselor talk with a teacher or another adult who can back you up on this. It's time for your school to start making some changes!!!

Oh and if you go to the counselor or a teacher etc.. and they try to tell you to go to class and won't work with you to solve the situation then go home. If you can talk with your parents do that. If not then find any adult who will listen to you and have them return with you to school. If this doesn't work set up a meeting with a school administrator or someone on the school board. You can keep getting higher and higher up the ladder, all the way to town mayor. And keep a record of what you do. You can make a difference here and protect yourself at the same time!

I can honestly say that I've never been in a similar situation, but I CAN say that you should probably tell an adult in the school about the situation. Talk to someone who is not going to "rat you out" and make it obvious that you went to them for help. A trusted teacher or the school counselor- someone who can give you advice about what to do. By making them aware of what's going on, you'll have a bit of documentation that you DID seek help should anything happen and you'd be forced to defend yourself. By writing back to her, you're only provoking the attacks. That whole thing about ignoring her really is probably the best course of action. There's no sense in giving someone so insignificant that much power over you. Best wishes!
