Well, maybe Cedric Bixler-Zavala. No rock singers have more control of their pitch than those two.

Freddie Mercury is great, no doubt....
but my preference is Steve Marriott from Humble Pie!
A little trivia for you. Steve and Peter Frampton got back together and were recording when he died. After he came home from dinner, he lit a cigarette ~ (unfortunately the good die young)
BTW do you remember Tin House? Their self titled 1971 debut album "finally" came out on CD!! Yeah!
