and she would be haru haru
scare crow= Morgan freedman
good witch= lady sovereign
the wizard= the currant president bush
harry potter= the guy that plays him { he would show up temporally}
flying monkeys= the Beatles
nato= who knows but he would be by hruko's side.{also from flcl}
tin man=bill Clinton
toe toe= the toco bell dog {and he would talk}
mamimi{flcl}= would be one of haruko's hinch men along with other
characters of flcl
the guy at the door to the emrald city=Carlos mencia
changed
the wicked witch would ride a flying vespa and her broom would
be a guitar just like she had in flcl.
the whole thing would be done in rock and role.
it would be rewritten by a combined effort of j.k rowling and
whoever written flcl.
it would be 3 hours long to fit everything in.

I definitely would not! I question your casting choices. Putting a politician in a fictional movie is a REALLY bad idea (unless they started as an actor, i.e. Schwarzenegger or Regan). I could see Whoopi Goldberg as one of the witches but not Dorothy. Actually if the whole thing is done in rock and roll and the wicked witch carries a guitar, it would be better to have a musician in that role - maybe Joan Jett. Lady Sovereign would be better as a flying monkey. Avril Lavigne is trying to change her image so she could be a cute Dorothy. Morgan Freeman is waaaay too dignified to be the Scarecrow but Robin Williams might be okay in that part. Instead of the Beatles substitute one of the more recent goofy boy bands like NSYNC (minus Justin Timberlake) or Backstreet Boys. I don't know who the Japanese names are or what flcl is.
Why would it be 3 hours long if you are only re-casting it and including a Harry Potter cameo? The original Wizard of Oz is only 1.5 hours long... How much extra junk are you adding? J.K. Rowling would NEVER participate in rewriting a classic like WofO. That's why she created the Harry Potter universe - to do something new and original.
