what should i feel for when i am giving myself a self breast exam?

i dont know what to feel for because there is alot fo strange stuff in there i dont know what is good and what is bad

You should be looking for the following:

A hard knot. A lump that is irregularly shaped (glands will be egg-shaped, small -- pea to bean sized -- and smooth). A painful area that has a lump below it. Flakey skin that won't heal even with medicated creams. Bloody discharge from your nipples when you gently squeeze them. Lumps or odd feeling shapes below the skin that feel like grains of rice, small shells, or other funny feeling oddities.
Don't forget to check down your ribcage, between your breasts, and under your arms and the insides of your biceps. All of these places are susceptible to breast cancer.

The best thing you can do is go to your doctor and have them instruct you on how to do a breast self exam.

There should be no lumps or other irregularities. You should have a clue what your breasts normally feel like just from having showered all these years. Here is a link that explains it all.

Feel around for any bumps or something that doesn't feel normal with your boobs. Any leaking or sagging and you should go to the doctor. I had one of those kinds of tests. Feel for lumps or something that doesn't feel or look right.

have a physcial and the doctor will show you there should be no lumps if you feel one you should get them checked out ASAP

im 16 and i found bumps, so its good to start that early
