What is your local 3ltr bottle of cider called? And does it cost £2.99?

Martinelli's - but they call it apple juice (from fresh squeezed apples) Apple cider is the same product exactly.
Last Friday I just happened to take a tour thru their processing plant and watched the process. There were several sizes of containers being filled.
They have been around since 1868!!! California.
I don't know the cost but it was delicious. ( not like the juice made from concentrate.)

BTW - Apple juice and cider aren't the same. My grandfather owned an apple orchard - and as it was explained to me, apple cider is taken from all the left over apples that are collected from the ground after the "good" apples are picked from the tree. These apples, often being a bit past ripe, are then run through a cider press that gets all the "good" juice out. Doesn't sound very appealing, but I still love the taste of apple cider.
