People like control over other people esp. over the opposite sex. Therefore when the control is not present or able to be obtained the one individual may become upset and grow a strong dislike against the other person. The longer the upset last the more susceptible they become to hating the other person. However there are some people who don't hate another because they can't control them.

sometimes, but few times more often, its just because the individual is hateful. I can disagree with someone and yet dont hate him/her but, i might hate someone just because... well actually hate is such a strong word, maybe its just dislike...or u just dont feel that the other person qualifies as a friend.
