The original Joe Kennedy made his money bootlegging booze during prohibition. Furthermore, if you people think that there is any difference between fascists, socialists and communists, I have a nice bridge to sell you.

This Joe Kennedy wasn't alive when Hitler was; this is his grandson. This Joe Kennedy has been running this organization, Citizens Energy, for about 30 years.
The Houston Chronicle has a good piece on this in one of its blogs (see below).
Communism is dead; let it die.
Chaves might be a populist or a socialist. It still doesn't matter. He runs a large company that employs lots of people in Houston. He sells discounted oil to Citizens Energy so people who are cold won't freeze.
Everyone who is offended by Chavez' speeches or disagrees with his politics can and should boycott Citgo. Everyone who hates all of the Kennedys, or just this one, should say so.
Just be smarter about it - Leave out the KGB and the hysteria.
BTW - If Venezuela can sell oil at a 40% discount, what exactly is the profit margin OPEC is protecting?

Chavez is a socialist, not a communist. The Kennedy's are also socialists so it only makes sense they are in unison, they have a common goal, the downfall of the United States.
The irony is that the Kennedy's made their money in oil, banking, and investments; the evil capitalist tools they now fight against with all of their millions.

What! I read the article and don't recall the word Communist or Communism in it. Hugo Chavez is a dictator akin to Fascist but not a Communist.

Hum - I believe the United States does business wiith Chavez as well as other countries throughout the world. To each is own. btw. lots of people here in the United States stayed warmer than usual thanks to Chavez..I didn't hear Bush complaining. And actually it was a good thing Chavez did. He's no worse than Bush. They just have different agendas. But underneath it all., they are very much alike. They are both dictators.
