He needs to say it. If he's been with you for 10 years, he should be comfortable enough by now. Also, if he's still your boyfriend after 10 years, why aren't you married? If he also uses the same excuse as not saying "I love you" than it's just an excuse. Break up with him. He obviously doesn't appreciate you. You may find someone else who will love you and tell you and make you feel special.

You been with this guy for 10 years but yet he hasn't asked you to marry him? That shows you that he is not committed and doesn't love you, just loves the sex. Marriage isn't even his priority. Which, is sad and a waste of years of not wanting to make that commitment.

He might have been raised in a family that doesn't show emotion which is a shame but will tend to influence his behavior. I do feel even if raised that way being with someone loving and caring will bring this urge to the surface and start showing and telling our loved ones the way we feel.Or he just doesn't really feel it.

Its not what he says but its what he does. If he feels it and acts like it then you are in the clear but if he is treating you badly and not even saying it or showing love and affection to you then you are in for it. You should then end the relationship now before marrying the guy!

He has issues and is scared of commitment. Sorry but love does need to be said. I wouldn't be with him. He proably does'nt wanna say it cause he wants to do what he wants to do and if he gets caught he can always use the excuse, "well I never said I loved you".............c'mon get real he's a loser! Leave him!

I think you've been with him for 10 years so you should know if he loves you or not.

He hasn't proposed marriage after having sex with you for 10 years (presumably) so I have my doubts, who that doesn't really matter.

He needs to tell you he loves you when a man loves a woman that is what they say.

he is probably not the type to say it because he thinks you already know and don't need to be reminded.
Tell him it makes you feel good to hear it.
He probably loves you
Do you know he does or is there problems in the relationship?
