i got my ears pierces awhile ago. they kept on getting infected even though i cleaned em twice a day w/ special alchohol cleanser! they've been infected like..5 times. finally i just closed them up.. they got so annoying. y do you think they kept getting infected? I wash them with the things they gave me when i pierced them and also... i wear earings covered in 14k gold. WHAT's WRONG?

Lots of people just have sensitive ears. Next time, put neosporine or triple anti-biotic ointment around the posts. Also, make sure they are real gold, the cheap stuff can also cause infections.

Try sterling silver and don't use anything that they sell at the malls to clean your ears. ALWAYS USE DIAL SOAP. It is an anti-bacterial soap and it will do a better job cleaning them then the crap they sell at the mall! I had the same problem a few years ago.

You're probably just wearing cheap earrings, which are bad for your ears.
Get some earrings made of sterling silver or 14 karat gold.

stop using alcohol!! that causes more oils and goop. you have to use the cleaner they give you. if they gave you the alcohol one you can get the right one at claires or piercing pagoda for pretty cheap

well maybe your allergic to the earrings your wearing... are they fake, cuz my ears get infected when i wear fake ones...

my cousin has the same problem. she has had hers peicred 8x's. try ur belly button, tongue, or the top of ur ear.
