austin is certainly one of the best. as well as taker, hhh, hbk.

austin joined at a time when wwf/wwe's ship is sinking due to turner-bischoff's wcw stiff competition. austin ushered in the attitude era and turned around vince's fortunes.

hhh, hbk and taker all stayed when most of the big names such as hogan, diesel, razor and bret hart already rocked the boat and jumped ship.

i guess loyalty to the company doesn't count as one of the characteristics of a great wrestler these days?!

HBK! He has skill and he has stood the test of time! Not many people came leave the WWE for four years, come back and cause as much commotion as HBK did!

For men I'd have to say Lou Thesz and Verne
Gagne.
For women, I 'd choose Fabulous Moolah and
Chyna.
