Most of the ones I worked with in 30yrs in 'the Biz' were self centred, conceited,
greedy,
lazy,
and generally awful......with exceptions of course.

Anyone ever heard of Robbie Williams? I'm his mum. Yes, really. He & his team work very hard to produce the shows that so many people want or expect to see, & everyone gets tired etc. along the way. My son always gives everything his best shot & I am proud to be his Mum.

I would have to say the lazy part is uncalled for. Do you know how many hours are spent on shoots? I think its a tight business in the BIZ. They are all trying to get the best scripts, the best parts. Its eat or be eaten in Hollywood. No time for whimps. Thank you for venting on your opinions of Hollywood tho.

My god, did you get a bum deal! I've worked in 'the biz' for 13 years now, and most of the celebs that I've worked with are really nice, down to earth people. With three notable exceptions, who were evil crones.

Of the famous people who are alive today whom I love to see I must say most of them seem great people. Christopher Lee for example is a really nice man (I have met him twice). Amber Benson is another person who is great in person.
I bet you are right though and most celebs are nasty people.

I like to think that they're nice. Yet, I know what fame must do to people, which is a shame but you can't be too naive to realize.

my heroine that I have loved on tv for years is true to the heart. I loved her and admired her for years and could tell she was sincere and then I met her and every wish came true so not every celeb is self centered

some are nice and some are just not into the fans. for example, the cast and crew of drake & josh, hannah montana, zack and cody, flight 29 down, and those kiddy shows...theyre nice. but a lot of others are pure jerks.

I read somewhere where Humphrey Bogart thought that most of the people in Hollywood ( including his fellow-actors) were Phonies . But really .....People suck everywhere.

They are great "act"ors, aren't they? I do believe they are always "Trying" to be nice. Therefore, we should try to love the person's music or movies, so long the work is great.
