good teams cycle...what most young fans dont know is, in the history of the NFL they are one of the most successful franchises ever, they won a number of championships before they were super bowls...then the first two super bowls also...they are the last team to have won three championships in a row (one plus SB 1 and 2) it took them a while but they got back and played in two consecutive super bowls, winning the first then losing to Elway's broncos...they will be in a rebuilding phase when Farve finally calls it a career but in time 'the pack will be back'

The Packers would have looked much better with Javon Walker.

With that being said, they still look like a middle of the pack team, that has a crack at a wildcard birth.

To be honest Brett Favre did a great job last year of keeping that team in the playoff chase until the final weekend.

Favre may not be his old self, but he still is one of the better QB's in the league, especially in the NFC. Right now the NFL is lacking in quality QB's and Favre is a better option than most teams have right now. If they could get him some help on the offensive side I think theyd bounce back nicely over the next 2 years, then its time to break in Aaron Rodgers or another QB.

The defense is ok, its on its way. And AJ Hawk is a beast.

As much as I like Favre, I think he's sort of over the hill even though he can be like his old self here and there, he's mostly well past his prime. I think maybe if they have a good year next season they could make the playoffs and lose after 1 or 2. As far as getting back to where they were, it could definitely happen but who knows really? I can see a great 2011 Packers.

I think that the Packers might be good if they draft the right guys to fill in the holes that they have and if the O-Line will keep the opp. D-Line from getting to Favre. I'm not sure if Favre is going to be playing for the '07 season or not but I hope he does and go over .500 at least get in to the playoffs.

i'm a packer fan, so i'm biased, but i truly think the packers can pull a playoff berth this year...favre should have his ankle surgery completed, he should be pumped and ready for a great season. plus, we'll have a few new rookies, and hopefully we get a few good picks this year.

and they didnt suck last year, they sucked the year before (4-12)

just so you know, i'm a packer fan from colorado, so a lot of my friends would probably like you to know that favre is too old to play and that the packers are screwed for yet another year.

GO PACKERS!

i think of you're sharing too a lot guidance. "do no longer ignore that our group is owned by utilising 112,000 shareholders who're ordinary human beings". Who cares approximately that? i do no longer appreciate the Packers by way of quantity of shareholders. I do appreciate the Packers for what they have been waiting to end. i think of the Packers are finally exhibiting why they need to be interior the elite bunch of the NFL. They overcame injuries, they have been waiting to apply their offense (regardless of its barriers) and make performs sufficient to get to the place they're. in my opinion they're between the greater advantageous underrated communities. The Packers have a valid shot at triumphing all of it, by way of fact of protection, how nicely Aaron Rodgers has performed, and overally the employer as an entire is a nobel one. I say this to declare, they have earned my appreciate in accordance with how they stay dominant on all aspects of the ball regardless of no longer having as much as different communities have. they have play makers, yet they nevertheless lack in key components. yet they're stunning activities fan. i'm no longer a Packer fan, yet provide them credit, they got here out of nowhere and gained 3 at present video games on the line that's a problematical feat to do.

i remember that the Packers didnt have a winning season for like 25 years before Brett Favre came over, so maybe they are just going back into another 25 year slump
