There will be a couple of days where I don't have any planned activities. Do you know of anything fun to do in the Nassau area that would make the trip really memorable?

I would recommend going to the straw market. You can get souvenirs and haggle with the locals. Also, if you like to drink... take a booze cruise. It's a lot of fun - free drinks, free lunch, free snorkeling, and you get to see more of the island.

Atlantis hotel. Check out the main street on Nassau Island for shops, restaurants and duty free stores.

Check out the hotel Atlantis. They have a casino and some very interesting restaurants and shopping even if you don't buy.
Any water excursion should be fun and memorable.

Visit Atlantis one day and snorkel the other day. There is lots to do there and one of the ways to find out is ask the locals. Drop into a shop and ask the sales people in there.
