Personality matters the most. a guy can be so cute...and be a jerk at the same time...no woman wants to be around a guy whos a jerk with only his looks there to please her...his looks will fade one day...and there will be nothing there for her to look forward too. the personality matters so much! the looks are great too...they are what catches a woman's attention, but you don't need them to get a woman's attention..or to get a girlfriend. everyone has good looks...some just don't have the looks that everyone else is looking for.
personality counts way more than the looks...i know this from experience...im only 13..but i know.

Of course looks is what attracts you at first to someone but in the end it all comes down to their personality! Looks always fade but you'll still always be the same person deep inside. Both are good , just personality is so much more important.

to be honest looks are what definetl\y atrract a girl but when the girl gets to knowu asnd finds out u have alame personality then looks wont matter. Also u have to be self confident but no to cocky. Alsoif u are an ok looking guy but hve a great personality / sense of humor it would be easy to get any girl u want

Personality really does come first, that is what really counts. If someone does not like u just because of the way u look, then that person is a loser. Looks do count, but not as much (just as long as u dont look like a stocker or dont take good care of urself) ;)

Personality is the most important, without a doubt.
Your looks reflect your personality, I think. If a man is well groomed (regardless of whether he's be considered handsome by others or not), I know that he respects himself. That's always a good sign towards respecting others...

Looks dont matter half as much to me as personality! If I can't carry on a conversation without being bored to tears I don't want to date him for sure

i try to base it on personality but of course looks always slip into my decision making even though i dont want it to but honestly, i think a strong personality is much more worthwhile than any looks because the personality is what you end up falling in love with

Both are important but I would rather have a guy who has a great personality and kind heart. But I also believe there has to be a physical attraction on both parts.

first meet -looks ,but when u get to know the guy n stuff personality matters even more. for me overall it would be personality

Definitely personality. You don't want to go out with a guy who only cares about himself or is the kind of guy that doesn't match with what your looking for!
But, it would help if the guy looked considerably good, you know, so it would be easier to get attracted to him/like him/ask him out.
