Believe it or not, comedy is a science. There are different techniques for humor that have names. Read up on it from comedians you like, for example, Jay Leno. There is a lot to do with timing of your delivery.

I seem to have a lot of success with wild exaggerations. Like this. I'm an organ donor. When I die, I'm so fat that everyone in Los Angles can get a collagen treatment.

OK OK Maybe that wasn't the best example. Like any skill it needs to be practiced.

Just go out and observe life from a different point of view.

For example, I was passed on a highway a few weeks ago by a flatbed truck with the logo:

I thought, 'That's weird. Infinity is a flat bed truck. I always thought infinity was a lot bigger.'

That same day, I passed a car dealership with a sign the read, '50 cars under $7000.' I thought, 'Wow!! What a deal. I can by 50 cars for only $7000. That's' only $140 each.'

It's all in changing your perspective of life. Learn to see the humor in the mundane and every day life.
