You could go with a classic white peep toe heel and some white or silver earrings. You might want to shy away from wearing a necklace because of the neckline. It all depends on the cut and such, though. If it's not too high, you might get away with a necklace. Alternatively, consider wearing a heel in a color that will "pop". You could wear a navy blue or black. Just becuase the color isn't in your dress doesn't mean you can't wear it. If you wear a blue or black pair of shoes, you might want to consider using a handbag in a similar color or one that has accents in a matching color. If you seem to be having trouble finding shoes that you think will be perfect, you could always bring your dress with you to the shoe shop and ask a salesperson for help. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you pick something out. Happy shoe shopping!

Something that looks vintage 40's in a solid color would be awesome. I picture a just above the knee skirt, pencil style, with a separate jacket that flairs just at the hips or a plain white man's style blouse and a big belt at the waist. Neutral hose color. Some matching costume jewelry (one big necklace, button earrings, and a couple of clunky bracelets). Top it off with a great red lipstick. :)

Isn't it funny how we purchase things on the spur of the moment and later find it difficult to actually use/wear that item? haha. I do this all the time. I suggest a mostly all black outfit. Maybe even a button down blouse (open a few buttons) and have a red camisole underneath.
Another option would be to go with a red pant.
Good Luck!

White jeans with a cute red top. Then paint your nails red to match. Maybe add a black belt to offset all the red & white, too.
