All 50 states recognize Martin Luther King Day. But some cities don't. I live in Arkansas and there are some cities that don't recognize his day.

No, there are not.

It is a federal holiday.

The states don't have a choice about whether the day is listed on the callendar as a holliday.

well this isnt the state of Illinois but our Catholic grade school always had school that day (my public high school now does not)
