what type of dress do you wear? what do you do your hair as?

We've thrown 1 this year and my daughter has attended about 25. MOST of them were extremely casual dress (nice jeans and a nice top...tanks and camisoles with layering mostly). The most "fancy" one was at a DC nightclub (the stepdad owns it). He rented a party bus and took all the kids to the disco for an evening. It was a closed party. Unlike the MTV show, most of the kids were dressed rather casually. The majority of parties were held at the various country clubs and had djs. The one that the kids dressed up the nicest for was held at a "Melting Pot" restaurant. They did seem to make a special effort for that one.
Oh, on the note of dressing---a very few kids DID do the "dressy-dressy" thing at each party and stood out considerably. The other kids kind of snickered about it afterwards for a while. I'd suggest something "nice" but NOT dressy or too showy.

This all depends on you. Is there a theme? What are you going to be doing?
If it were me I would definitly go with a very cute dress. Something not too fancy, and definity not too revealing. Its always cute to do a baby doll style with your hair down and curly* if your hair is straight, or Straighten in* if its curly. Keep it simple so you don't look overly done up. But, if you do the curly or straighy style (the opposite of what your hair is) you will be doing something different that people aren't used to seeing you as and that will be enough to make it a memorable look, for everyone.

A sweet sixteen doesn't make it a "theme" party. Unless, they have made a special theme, just wear a nice, comfortable outfit and do your hair just a little extra special. It is a party, after all.

a ball gown and your hair should have curls all over and then lots of money to buy sweets for your friends i spent 8,000 on my sweet sixteen party and my friends wanted more

1. Leather pants with belt
2. Tucked into underwear + shirt
3. Wear a polo shirt (NOT from Abercrombie!)

wear a cute dress kinda short but not 2 short
a nice spring color
& ur her...leave it out & have pretty curls :]

I but on a blue trendy dress and put my hair in a ponytail and put a clip on the back of the pony tail.Or look at my picture.hope it helps bye.
