Baby -Doll if People tell you they don't hurt then they must not have been a virgin when they tried it. I did all the right things and did it the correct way, but it still hurt a little. It was worth the pain though. It was just nasty walking around wit those nasty stinking pads between your legs and wondering if everyone can see them. Thank God for Tampons or I would have never went to school again. Pads are too much of a hassle!!!!

They make tampons for young girls. They are marked slender. And they should not hurt if inserted right. It may take some practice, but the trick is to get it inserted , so when you walk you cannot feel it. The string will hang out for you to pull a used one out every few hours or so. Pulling one out feels more unconfortable to me than inserting one. A Mom

The first times you try putting in tampons you might be a little uncomfortable. But is isn't a big pain. And once a tampon is in properly it does not hurt AT ALL.

When my daughter first decided to try wearing tampons I gave her some lubricant to put on the applicator so that it went in easier. After she got more experience she didn't need it any more.

Nope. Tampons don't hurt a bit, but when they do, it's because you have it in wrong, it's best to just start over again, and be sure to relax when you insert and especially when you take it out. talk to yr mom or go to www.beinggirl.com and get informed.

yeah it realli does, that's why i aint wasting any more money on it. Relaxing to me is BS cuz it only stresses u out more when the more u try the more u hurt.

I guess it all dependz on how u handle pain. but diagram or not, i cant take something stabbin me..so much for sex right? lol

They don't hurt, but it takes some practice to get used to doing it and figure out how to do it right! The first time you try, you'll probably tense up and have a hard time. Just try to relax, work on finding the right angle, and you'll figure it out. Good luck! :)
