Been a stay at home mom for more than 22 years. Don't have any work experience except in fast food. I want something different for myself. Would like to go back to school but no money. Like to work for myself but don't know what I would do.

I work from home for a wonderful company that is a member of the BBB, offers full training, and supports me every step of the way. I set my own hours and answer to no one. If you enjoy helping others, working on the computer, and are interested in making your home a safer place as well, it may be for you. Visit my profile if you are interested.

Step one: Start by writing a list of your skills and the things you like to do. You're question concentrates on things you cannot do. But there have to be many more things you can do.

Step two: Brush up your computer and typing skills. (Obviously you know how to use a computer and type. Otherwise you wouldn't have been able to ask this question!) No matter what job or industry, nowadays, everything requires using a computer.

Step three: Sign up with temp agencies. They're mostly concerned with your computer and telephone skills. Let them send you on jobs. This will allow you the opportunity to get used to working and observe different industries and occupations. This should help give you an idea of something that would be a good fit for you.

While ultimately you may want to work for yourself, working through temp agencies for awhile - even if your assignments are answering the phones and filing - will help you get back in the swing and observe many different types of jobs.

Good luck!

If you have been a stay at home mum why not write a book on just that. You never know some one may have that desire but not know where to start.

Try clickbank .com free to join and you can make some money to get you started then build your own website and go from there.

Try it.
It does work just stick to it

All the best to you

You should go and register for some free job boards. Then you can browse their listings and when you see something you like you can apply right online. This site has a bunch of free job sites.
