oh sure, it's technically possible to make gold using modern "alchemy" but doing so is far from being economically feasible.

a better get-rich-quick scheme would be to revive the idea of cold fusion. all you need is an info-mercial to sell the Ronco home gold-making kit. You could easily sell several million units at say $79.99 a pop.
