john cena has good charisma as a face where as edge has
better charisma as a heel.
so to answer your question correctly they both have skill
just in different ways

Cena has his skill, but Edge has better ones. He can go just technical wrestling when he is with Cena, he has the ladder matches experience, no all wrestlers can do that. Edge can go hardcore skills, best match of 2006 with Mick Foley. On top if this; his mic skills are very good and his in-ring work is close to great (as anyone could expect from a wrestler who trained at Stu's dungeon) right?

As much as I don't like him, I have to say Edge. Cena may sell more, but I don't think I've really seen any skill from him before.
