They should be just fine. Radke served his purpose as an innings eater, and they are looking for Ramon Ortiz to fill that role. which i believe he can do. As for Liriano, he wasn't at 100% all the second half of last year, and they were able to survive. So I see another good run by the Twins this year.

The Twins consistently discover a thank you to compete because of fact they have a great farm gadget. no person pitcher can replace Liriano, and Radke confirmed quite a few guts final 12 months pitching with an harm, yet by mid might whilst Glen Perkins and Matt Garza are the two set interior the rotation human beings will see how deep the Twins pitching is. the two would be stars. Plus they have the suited pither interior the bigs in Santana and a dominant bullen anchored by the suited closer exterior of Mo in huge apple. The White Sox have taken some steps back, dropping McCarthy and probably dropping Uribe. And the Indians can hit yet are unfavorable in pitching and protection. it extremely is going to come all the way down to the Twins and the Tigers, and collectively as i admire the Tigers youthful pitchers and the addition of Sheffield, i think of it extremely is going to likely be close. The Twins nevertheless have some offensive firepower interior the middle of the lineup. Plus with the loser of the race will nevertheless have a shot on the wild card against the loser of the BoSox Yanks race.

Their fate rests in the hands of the young pitchers. Can Bonser, Silva,Baker, Garza or another young one pick up the slack? The bullpen is among the best in baseball but the starters have to give them a chance. If 2 or 3 of the kids pitch well they will compete right to the end. The offense is pretty good and fairly nicely balanced and they play good defense. The Tigers still look like the best team and the Twins will be battling the White Sox (they have starting pitching issues and a looney manager to deal with) and Indians (pitching there doesnt have as many high potential guys but right now from top to bottom the starting staff is solid....the pen has some problems though). It will be a fun summer for all us AL Central fans regardless of how it turns out.

The AL Central should be a lot of fun to watch this season. If the Twins can get some solid production out at least two of the following Silva, Garza, Baker, and Bonser, they should do fine. Detroit will still be great this year. The White Sox won't be as good as last year, but still are contenders. The Indians might also be contenders in this division this year. There should be two playoff teams from the division, because it is clearly the most difficult in the AL (The East is not because only Boston and New York are good, the rest are not).
I will make one guarentee: Kansas City will not win the division.

Even without Liriano & Radke, The Twins are looking good. They always find ways to win. Mauer & Morneau will tear it up (again) and I see them in the mix all year.
Of course Cleveland improved and should be in the mix as well.
The Tigers added Sheffield, and that line-up will explode now.
At the end, I see Minnesota or Detroit as division winners and the other taking the wild card.

There's a good chance they'll finish 4th, after Detroit, Cleveland and ChiSox, in that order.
If one of the young pitchers (Garza/Bonzer) turns into a stud, the Twins might finish 2nd to the Tigers. Detroit is just too balanced of a team this year. And barring any major injuries to key players, they will win the division. (I know this is not what you wanted to hear)

they will finish third in the division, although i've seen people pick them to go to the world series...their hitting will still be good, but i think those starting pitchers you mention will be sorely missed; while carlos silva has been good at times he has also gotten shelled a couple times, and guys like bonser and baker will need to continue to mature
