Getting a bit fed up with the repeats. Are the older episodes funnier/better than the more recent ones?

Hi there funnygirl, The older episodes do seem to be better. But I still love them all. Can't remember the name of the episode, but one of my favourite lines is from Homer....he was talking to a very sexy woman and was staring at her big boobs. The woman noticed this and said: "My face is up here." And Homer replied: "I've made my choice!" Brilliant!
There is a Simpsons movie coming out in July!

Lisa walks in room telling homer she had a bad dream.
Lisa: Well, I know it's absurd, but I dreamed the boogeyman was after me, and he was hiding under...
Homer: Ahhhhhhhhhh! Boogeyman! You nail the windows shut, I'll get the gun!
[Homer bursts into Bart's room]
Homer: Bart, I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a boogeyman or boogeymen in the house!
Bart: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My favorite episode is Homer Badman, season 6. After Homer is caught stealing candy from a candy convention, he takes pop rocks and a coke and shakes them up. He tosses it at the convention-goers and yells, "See you in hell, candy boys!" He then runs in slow motion as the place explodes.

its got 2b the april fool episode when bart has 1 of homers duff cans and tries loads of ways to fizz it up and as homer is opening the can bart says ''april fooooo'' (doesn't manage to get the word fool out) n the house blows up, then when all the family are in the hospital they want to know if he's going to be ok n the doctor says sorry but he has died then says april fool, sick but funny lol

The old one's are typically better as the writing isn't quite as sharp as it used to be. Roughly, seasons 2 through 8 are the peak era in my opinion.
Favorite episode: Cape Feare
Favorite line: "In your face, space coyote!"

No1 episode,duffless. after getting convicted in court of some crime and sentenced to community service Homer exclaims to the judge,"your honour i'd like to strike that last remark from the record". killer line.

Love lots of them! Lisa at Duffworld getting high on the water was fab..she says " I am the lizard queen" and "can't talk coming down." Also, Pinchy, Homer's pet lobster...brilliant!

I would sooner watch the older episodes because the ones they're showing now have poor animations. But for a good favourite.......HALLOWEEN SPECIAL.

When the class hamster saves Skinner in skinners sense of snow at skinner says to the hamster "You did it, Nibbles. Now, chew through my ball sack." (he is stuffed into a dodge ball sack) gross, but funny!
