That's exactly what you've got to do to become an actress. Do what you love. If you have the chance to go to a college and get into majoring in theater. You've got the perfect outlook on what you want to do, you've just got to start doing it.

It is so great that you are so secure in what you want to do. If you are not already in the drama club at your school get involved. If your school doesn't have a drama club look into private lessons in your area such as the local community college or studios. Always know that it is a lot of work, but well worth it. Remember "The Artist is nothing without the gift, and the gift is nothing without the work."

First you should get an agent. You don't have to have one, but it helps alot! To look for one, you can look up your favorite actors and see who there's are. You should also get some acting expirence, you know, to go on your resume. If you can't get an agent (I don't know why you couldn't) then you can start looking for auditions yourself nline. To get an agent, it doesn;t cost anything. Don't give anyone anything upfront. It's not supposed to cost a thing!
Good luck!

Join the drama department at school. If you are in the drama department you will find out if acting is something you want to do.

Try reading Shakespeare and project when read as if you were on stage, so you can build character and be able to speak clearly in a loud voice.

okay well if you are good enough then you should start by sending some resumes to some agencies or managers. try every single agency out there and at least one of them will be willing to see wat you got. so you make an appoinment with them and show off some of monologues that you got or they will giv you somthing for you to start out. so from there on, work your butt off getting yer education and acting scenes
