Do you know how I can get explorer back on?

it does the same thing when I press 1 for normal

when you get to this screen, hit ctrl alt delete (hold down ctrl and alt and hit delete) and wait for task manager to come up. Hit file> new task and hit msconfig. go to boot.ini and uncheck /safeboot and apply, hit okay, and then restart.

I'm not sure what Windows you're using but, If it's XP you may have the safe mode checked off . Try this. Click the start button on the bottom left hand side of your screen. Look for RUN. Click the RUN button and type msconfig then click OK. You should see a new box pop up. At the top of this box you will see tabs. You need to look for BOOT.INI click that tab. There you should see SAFE MODE. If it's checked off un check it than restart your computer. This works in Windows XP

when booting your computer up, constantly press F8. then choose regular boot mode and it should work. and if your talking about internet explorer, get firefox instead. getfirefox.com

Try using your up or down arrows to put it in Normal , then hit Enter. Good luck
