I know the how many BTU's the Fireplace is and I know the cost of my Natural Gas "per Therm"

Your fireplace is probably 30,000 BTU. on average, a cubic foot of natural gas has 1,040 BTU. You will need to figure out the charge you get from your gas company per cubic foot. This is listed on your bill.

gas is more costly to use cause you have to keep buying the gas to to keep it working. u buy gas for your car it is close enough to filling your car electric or wood burning is cheaper
