Point out all the good points of owning a phone.
they= parents
- they can be in touch with you 24/7
- they can know you have a way to call if there is an emergency
- they can see where you are (if phone comes with GPS)
also, make a deal, if you get all A's and B's you can keep the phone, if you make a C, u have to pay that months bill. mention it once every two days so you are reminding them but not annoying them.

Go out one day and return home acting distressed and a looking bit worse for wear, say you have been mugged & that your phone and a few other bits and pieces (crap cd, bag etc) have been stolen. Cry for a bit and hope for the best :D

Tell them thats what you want for Christmas OR Birthday, thats how i got my parents to upgrade my phone from the LG 8300 to the Razr.
