The song is called Danny's Song and the most popular version was performed br Kenny Loggins. It was also done by Anne Murray and Glen Campbell.

Danny's Song first done by Anne Murray in Canada. Loggins and Messina In US.L and M version didn't play in Canada because of cancon rules ,same as" Say You Love Me "by Fleetwood Mac and "The First Cut Is The Deepest" by Cat Stevens.They were all covered by Canadian artists simultaneously to being released in the US .It was record -company policy that pandered to the canadian content rules.

it is an old song that ann murray use to sing back in the 70s. she was a solo artist. then kenny loggins took it over. he is also a solo artist. it is a beautiful love balad for two people who are just in love or are married it is a really nice song. it use to be on the radio. 95.6 fm still plays that song some times if you catch it
