Truly you are not emo/goth. But if people have been calling you that then I understand why. You do look emo to them, with the sids bangs, black clothing, skulls. They define that as being emo/goth. In reality, they are the losers for being so dumb and not knowing the real definition of goth or emo. Emo and Goth is just a music genre, you can't be music. Wear whatever you want, be who you are. If someone calls you that ever again, just look at them in shame, shake your head and think "You are so f'n dumb, you don't even know what the word freakin' means!" or say it to them up front (depending if you wont get bashed after).

LOL, "Rest of Your Life Off" that's funny. Why don't we just call people who shave their heads and go into rehab 'pop'!.

nicely, those 3 issues are distinctive subcultures for one factor. yet besides, i'm goth and that i will enable you know you're no longer goth. metallic isn't goth and skulls are not particulary goth the two and you do no longer say something approximately dressing goth. and unquestionably you're no longer punk the two, thinking you do no longer pay attention to punk or gown punk. i do no longer pay interest to emo, however the only factor approximately you that sounds emo is one in all the scene haircut, regardless of the certainty that technically that could desire to make you scene and not emo.

thats not either.
thats scene or rocker.
theres a difference.
goth is more of black, and those jeans with the belts hanging off of them. and heavy makeup.
emo is wearing skinny jeans and a band teee. well so is rocker.
but i would say maybe your more, rocker then emo

i consider myself rocker/scene. I wear skinny jeans, i have short red hair, glasses, dark tees or band ones, side swipped bangs, i wear skull stuff alot, nose ring, plugs and i wear flat ballet shoes or mocassins. I dont see myself as goth not one bit.

i dont think either of those. i dress the same exact way, its definitely not goth at all, but too punk to be emo.

Who cares what other people think or say about your style, you should do what you want and be happy with it...if everyone dressed or looked alike, this world would be so boring.
