I live in Indiana and to get into any college here u have to take both the ACT and the SAT i was wondering if you have 2 take the ACT to get into colleges or if the SAT is good enough for them

Some colleges require both. Some require the SAT and not the ACT, or visa versa. It depends on the college you want to attend.

No. It is not required that you take the ACT. I too am in the state of Indiana and I only took the SAT. I haven't ever heard of anyone being required to take the ACT & the SAT. I do know that some people do better on the ACT than the SAT because they're better with the arts and historical stuff. But, as far as I know, no college in the state of Indiana requires you to take BOTH. Good luck!

No college requires both. Most take one or the other.
Its beneficial to take both tests.
You are likely to do better on the SAT if you are a math person.
You are likely to do better on the ACT if you are an english/arts person.

Most will accept one or the other but express a preference for either the ACT or SAT. Contact the admissions office and find out which they would prefer.
