My husband of several years loves anal. We've tried several positions and much lube, but it hurts my stomach (not to mention my hole hurts) and I can't seem to relax. Its all a matter of degree, in most cases with proper relaxation it can be an enjoyable experience. Proper lubrication is needed, otherwise the only lubricant will be blood, and that's not good for either party. Its popularity has always been limited because some people think the anus is dirty. Others revel in it and actually lick their partners anus to relax it and lubricate it before penetration. The only way to know if you will like it is to try it, but remember to wear a condom, or if you are receiving have your partner wear a condom.

You may already do this, but I'll suggest it anyway. Have him on top, in missionary so that you can kiss and cuddle etc if it gets uncomfortable- you need something to distract you until it begins to feel good, so you could try touching your clitoris or using a vibrator on your clit and inside you, whatever you like/prefer. I actually really like anal and don't find it painful, but if it ever did start to hurt then I would always play with myself, it distracts you and makes you start thinking about how good your clit and/or vagina feels, not about the huge **** inside your anus.

Hmm... It's nice that you try to accommodate the other's desires, but if it always hurts you when you have anal sex, maybe he should just not expect or wish for it. If you wish to continue having it with him, try getting used to slowly with a finger or two, or a toy, first, so you can adapt more slowly to something being put in there. If this doesn't work, (please don't think me gross or perverted) could he compromise to rub his penis between your bottom cheeks with lube instead of inside your anus? Hopefully that could make it equally pleasurable for him and more tolerable for you. I hope he's equally willing to please you in your favorite ways...

If YOU REALLY don't want to do this...then maybe he should still consider your feelings. If he and you need a little more excitement in your love life, try some new toys, dressing up, or having sex in different places of your home...a guy loves a woman who is spontaneous and wild at times...tie him up and have YOUR way with HIM...and see if HE likes it! He might enjoy a different side of creativity especially if it's YOUR idea...makes him feel like you want him more and men love that!
