can someone please give me info on how to join American Idol. and how much it costs, how to sign up etc. i went online but didn't find any info
any help will be greatly appreciated

Auditions for American Idol will probably be announced after this season has ended. It will be around June. Auditions will probably start around August.
Look out for the announcement after this season ends.
Going for audition will not cost you much, only the plane tickets to your nearest audition city. Or if you're living in the audition city, it will cost you less to get to the location.

If you want to be a contestant watch for the list of cities they will be holding auditions in. No charge except it is your responsibility to get to the audition the first time. I think the best advise is if you want it bad enough follow your dream and never give up.

Sometime after this season is over, they'll announce the audition cities and dates. The audition info page isn't updated yet, but some rules will still apply.
