Movie Ideas?

Alright I feel like watching a movie that is well-made. I also want it to be funny but also serious.

SO.........What are some similar movies to Rush Hour 1 & 2, Bad Boys 1 & 2, and Blue Streak?

You seem to like action movies... My favorite movie idea would include action, conspiracy theory, humor, time-travel, and aliens.

The aliens (who are actually highly evolved humans from the future) provide the space ships that are time travel capable. The aliens abduct a quirky group of 21st century conspiracy nuts to form a team that plans and executes the rescue of victims of one of more of the following historic conspiracies:

Titanic
Apollo 13
Kennedy Assassination
9/11

Everyone is actually rescued and many potential victims are returned to their current time. There must be pressure to accomplish each mission due to the alien leader who wants to limit the number of missions. There is the possibility of multiple follow-up missions if the first mission fails to rescue everyone. Of course, the team is likely to meet themselves and get advice from future missions.

You could repeat the same events from different team perspectives if the first mission did not complete the entire rescue. Of course the victims are either taken to safety in the future, or if history allows, returned to their own time.

For me the serious element would be difficult. I suppose there could be drama associated with the alien leader threatening to not allow a mission to save the last victims.

I think that I'll write the children's book first.
