I have been looking at some pictures of myself from 5-10 years ago, and I wa white. Now, I'm light brown. Do you guys know anything I could do to go back to my original skin tone? (my whole body). Will sunscreen help? lightening creams? The bad thing, though, is that I'm mexican, so, instead of other people going back to their color after they have been tanned, I stay like that. Any suggestions?

Most likely your skin is darker because it has been exposed to the sun a lot more. Use a high powered sunscreen (at least spf 30) and do not forget to use it on your face as well. When washing up, use an exfoliating body scrub at least once a week, which will get rid of the first layer of dead skin cells and moisturize your skin.
Also you could try a "fading lotion" which contains hydroquinone (availible at most drug stores) and this will lighten your skin a few shades with every day use.

If it's tan then eventually the color will fade. Use sunscreen so you won't tan anymore, but as far as lightening creams, I would not recommend anything unless you consult a dermatologist. He/she may also be able to shed some light on the fact that you are getting darker for no reason.

hmm thats hard. using a higher spf sunscreen when in the sun will help but its hard to go back to a lighter color.

ur change in skin tone is probably because of just sun exposure

It's because you were adopted but you didn't realize it until you were older.
