you and your three closest friends were in the same homeroom last year. It was great. You studied together, you complained together, and you shared special times together. But now you've just gotten your class assignment for the new year, and this time only you are in a different class. You're nervous that you'll lose your friends.

Dear Jay-ar T

In school and all through life you are going to always come in contact with new and probably more interesting people than the ones you don't want out of your reach. This is part of growing up. If you allow yourself to be close minded on meeting new people during your life time you are then cheating yourself . That new person could bring to you a positive friendship that could very well last a lifetime. I am not suggesting closing the door on your old buddies. But please open your mind and give space to all the new people in your class. I promise you it will make you a better and more interesting person. There are millions of people out there, besides that, all these people are going to graduate someday and go out and make a whole new and different kind of life for themselves. and if you stay in such a rut you are really going to be left out and feeling betrayed by their friendship. when it's time for them to move on and live their own lives, just as you should be doing. Don't suffocate them. You will get over this I know. It may take a little time but hang in there, it's not so bad.
Hope this gave you a little insight about things in general

Take Care,

Marseille

Hey, why would you lose your friends?? friends are just what the word implies--there for you even though you always aren't together anymore--hey life is full of these little moves--if these people forget you--then they weren't friends after all. People come and go all the time--trouble is, you are young and just learning what millions of us learned a long time ago--be cool, relax, meet new people and have fun--it's a big world out there.Good luck

Don't be ask if you can transfer classes and if they don't let you ask about same elcetives of lunch. Also if you can't then tell you're friends to go on group outings with you on weekends, to the mall an amusment park or even just the park.

Go out of your way to keep in touch with your old friends, but also try and make some new ones as well, as you can never have too many friends through life.

Keep in touch, but make some new friends. Good friends are hard to find, but harder to keep. Good Luck!!
