Right now I am at petco.com trying to pick out a cage for the teddy bear hamster i will be getting soon. I've only had a hermit crab before...so lets just say with animal habitats im clueless.
Can someone please tell me what kind of cage they have, if you are satisfied with it, and if possible a picture of the cage?

thank you so much!

i have mine in a glass aquarium ten gallons with a screen top. avoid plastic cause some hamsters are very big on chewing plastic. alawys give them something to chew the paper roll of toilet paper works well. i use carefresh bedding. wood shavings can cause problems never ever use cedar wood.

If you go over to our website, http://4einc.info and click on "our pets" you'll find pictures of various cages...out of all of them, there's only one that we haven't personally used, though there are other cages that we have that are in use that aren't up there. Put it this way, we've had small cages, big cages, and cages that are in between. We've had one level cages, multi-level cages and cages that have been connected by tubes lol.... We figure we've spend about $400 on our cages if not $500

A storage plastic see through box works great as an alternative (in my opinion better) cage for hamsters. It's easier for you to look at your hamster and for you to take out your hamster. It is bigger too! Mine's size is 66QT./63L. Make sure you buy a wheel, little house, food bowl, and water bottle.
