Everything happens 4 a reason and everythung can be treated as a learning experience. i think we all learn the same lessons in lifeand love eventually, but we all learn differently. it can happen to us. it doesnt just happen to everyone else. Time... Even though it was a nasty split, there was a time when it was good or it would have never happened in the first place. A relationship died so mourning sets in and there is no escaping that. You'll be sad for a while then time will help to heal the negative. In the mean time, start replacing it with positive things. Don't jump right into another relationship. Focus on a dream you have had and make plans to accomplish it....and do it for yourself. Everything else will fall into place. Listen to your favorite music, eat your favorite foods and go places and do things that make you smile! Good luck to you!!

Through your accomplishments at first. It can be as simple as keeping the bills paid on time at first and working your way up to doing more and more things. Pretty soon, you will find your new grooves and start to feel good about the things you have accomplished and who you have become.

Then the challenge of dating again resumes: that's a bit tougher at first, but it's not so bad so long as you approach each date as a learning experience, are determined to have some fun with it all, and recognize that you might have to date a lot of people who may or may not be that interested in you personally (have their own more devious agendas sometimes) .

practice unconditional self assurance don't measure your self worth by other people's standards, as it will only leave u open to insecurities and a fragile self esteem. and live a life that lines up with god's word. what we think is what we are, think positive, don't allow what this person did to u affect who u are, and how u define yourself. go to the gym, get some new clothes, surround yourself with friends u can trust, that u feel safe with. join a self help group with others who may be going through what u are. and stop blaming yourself for the split, as it happened due to someone Else's choices.

Go out on the town with friends and do fun things for yourself. Start dating again someday when you are ready and if need be seek counseling for how you are feeling so you may someday start to get past the pain this has caused in your life and you may be able to move on and live again.

I just got out of a relationship that lasted a month in december. What really helped me through it was my best friend jaron. He is a guy and he gave me his thoughts and said if he ever went out with me he would never dump me and that really cheered me up.
