I've only seen two movies in the past 12 months ; but coincidentally , and surprisingly- both were excellent :
"The Queen"-w/ Helen Mirren
and
"Notes on a Scandal"-w/Judi Dench & Cate Blanchett .
My favorite was "Notes on a Scandal" .

MIne was Little MIss Sunshine, because it was funny, heartwarming, and had great dialogue.

any micheal moore stuff ,]
they have a version of the truth that is more believable than the news.
