!st you have to know what video you are running. you may have to open the case to find this info. If it's built into the motherboard you'll have to get the numbers of the chipset. The the largest chip on the board that is'nt your processor. It may have a heat sink attached in wich case you'll have to remove it to see the numbers.or, you
may be lucky & have all this info somewhere on the case provided by the manufacture. In some case, if your system dosent display the company logo, the very 1st thing you see when you hit start is the name of the grafics you have. But you gotta be quick, it wont be there long.In the case you have a add in card you may have to remove it to see the numbers.
Once you have this info. you can go to the video card manufacturers site or the system manufacturers site for the drivers. Usually you will find them under support or downloads. Follow the installation instructions provided by the mannufacturer to install them. Good luck.

You could try microsoft update. Sometimes they will offer a driver suitable depending if its just a basic graphics card you have. There is also a program which you can download free (search in google for it) its called Belarc Advisor. Failing that, open up your pc tower, look for the card that your monitor lead is connected to, note down any info from the card.....usually just serial numbers (but you may find manufactures name on it.) Put that info into google to find your driver

Assuming you know you have a video card, check your pc recovery discs. You should have it somewhere on them or as on mine a 'Utilities & Drivers' disc. Else visit the manufacturers website and seek help there.
Incidentally, my brother downloaded some sort of malware that corrupted his video drivers. He had to reinstall the master disks.

need to get some information, I assume you're talking about the driver for your monitor.
Write down the name and model number of that particular monitor. Search online for the drive for that monitor.
to get to the section to install it.
right click on your desktop. scroll down to properties. click once. click on the monitor tab. or the adaptor tab. You can figure out the rest from there.
