I have been watching most haunted live in transylvania and thought that it was a bit over acted. Usually i'm a big fan & i'm also a beliver in spirits etc.. but if i was to go to the famous catle of vlad the impaler i would have done things differently.

Is that the show you see on the Travel Channel with some medium named Derek? If so, yes. he overacts and so does the blond chick on there too.

Yep - Totally.
1) They kept mucking up about the language. Yes they had a translator there, but, there were far too many "Can you do this" followed by a reaction WITHOUT a translation. I'm sure medieval Romanians do not speak 20th Century English. And how would the medium be able to translate back to us? Did the ghosts have their own translator?
2) At the end (NOTE how they ended up in the dungeon right at the end in time for the climax of the show????) when Yvette hit Carl she smirked???
3) You cannot get that kind of 'Supernatural reaction' on command.
It has to be a fake & badly acted.

i agree with rachelou - since derek acora left the dramatics have been tamed down loads - david wells is a very believable medium and i dont think it was staged at all. easy to judge from the comfort of our armchairs - i was watching on webcam and you could see a little bit of the out of camera response by the rest of the crew - and, well im not going to try to convert anyone out there who thinks its a hoax - god knows there are enough hoaxsters out there - i just have a different vibe about this lot on most haunted.
but each to his own.
never thought it was useful just to slate something just for the sake of it - constructive criticism is always better received isnt it?

Sorry but its always over acted, I believe in spirits also but that programme really is taking the Micky out of the other side big time.

...yep...I think Carl has taken over the old "possession" routine of Derek's...and there does seem to be a pattern in these live shoots..they always leave you in suspense...I believe there is an element of acting going on...it gets the viewers in..!

I don't think they've overacted considering the location they were at, in fact i think its toned it down a lot with David Wells. They've got a lot of guts going down those dungeons!!
