To me, its to respect all living things, such as plants, animals, the environment, and human beings. All life is precious even if its not a human life. I treat animals as well as I treat people in general.

We are to respect nature and treat it fairy, whilst at the same time, God has made the earth for us to rule on above all animals and plants, but some of us take this to far.

Also some of us take it to far to the other extream, By 'hugging' trees, praising' mother earth' and giving nature higer value than an unborn child. We are rsponsible for how we treat our world.

This is a Buddhist phrasing - if you came up with this on your own, you are an extremely evolved being. If you did not come up with this on your own but you accept it as your own, then you are also extremely evolved.

Mind and Heart Kindness to all living things (and nonliving things, incidentally) is the path to both inner peace and world peace, as well as inner and outer love.

i think kindness has to start with oneself...if I can't be kind to myself it's hard to know how to be kind to others....

i think kindness just means....doing your very best to always be aware of everyone and everything around you.....my 17 year old son won't even step on a bug.

to me, it means that they havent experienced the real world with competition and all that. it doesnt mean that they cant be kind in their spare time. so basically to me, it means that kindness means that you have time and devotion to spend on other "living things."
