Could you explain why some NBA shirts doesn't contain the NBA logo near to the left shoulder's player and have a black mark ?

I saw that with Atlanta Hawks shirts, on www.nba.com
see the player profile of Speedy Claxton and Josh Smith...
Both shirts are not exactly the same, why ?
What is the meanning of this black mark ?

It depends on who manufactures the shirt. Some shirts are not allowed to give the look of authentic jerseys. Adidas has exclusive rights to all authentic and replica jersey items.
