if i work 7 hours a day with 2 15 min breaks do i have to take a 30 min. lunch break if i chose not to? 2 breaks are quit enough the lunch is not paid. i would rather not take one, i would have to go in 30 min. early not to loose any time. thank you charmers

By law, most states require a meal break if you work 6-7 hours or more in a day. On the other hand, smoke breaks and coffee breaks are not required by law.
I used to think I could cut out 30 minutes early, taking my meal break at the end of the shift. My boss said he'd be in trouble for something like that with the department of labor, so I took my 30 minute meal breaks and two 10 minute breaks.
