I am not a Doctor I am a nurse and have experience in the Gynae area. Also, I have the same problem, irregular, long and light periods.

Other questions that could be worth asking yourself are...
Does sexual intercourse hurt?
Do you have any other symptoms? IE offencive smelling and/or oddly coloured discharge?

If you answer yes to these questions you may well have an STD.

Do you have bad period pains?
Do you have pains at any other time of the month?

There are a few possibilities. For example, PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) under/over active thyroid to name but a few. You really should speak to your GP asap. Without seeing and examining you a Doctor would not be able to correctly diagnose anything anyway. Good luck

I am not a doctor. But I had the same thing happen to me. My periods where so irregular from the time I started it at 12 and untill it finally stopped at 18.

I was told that my weight was a the cause of this problem. So who knows. I wish you good luck.

I myself have always had irregular periods , and the best advice for you is go to your gynocologist asap this sort of bleeding is not normal, you need to be checked out.

Call the doctor!( if you're concerned)

It could be nothing!

It could be something!
