2 over k to the 6th power, then it woul be 2k to the 6th power, because when an exponent is negative, it goes on the opposite side of and then becomes positive. and you also can't have a negative exponent in your answer

Exponents tell you how many times to use the base as a factor. You have 6 ks so that is k^6. In exponential form you have 2/k^6. Exponents in the denominator of a fraction tell you it's a negative exponent. 2/k^6 is the same as 2k raised to the -6 power.
