How Can I set the Windows rights for a non-administrator user?

Question

I share my PC with a roomate and I created an additional user profile for him to used; How I can I do a custom restrict to this user. I would like to avoid this user to print fro example. I use Windows XP

Go to:

↓ Control panel - logged in as a admin
↓ Users
↓ Select his account
↓ Select change account type
↓ Change it to limited
↓ All admin rights will be removed.

Better of you can make his an guest account.

click your user icon click home click change an account then press the user then press change account type the other way to do this go to control panel then press user acounts do the same thing but do not press home

i dont think you can restrict him/her from actually using a printer - you would have to remove the start menu from his account to do this.
