it is the most natural thing to do. people try to hide it and pretend that they do not do it. if you come across someone who says that they do not do it, you can bet they are lying about it. do it, it is not harmful.

If it had a harmful effect most people in this world would have been harmed! It is harmless, as long as you dont do it in a way that would harm you - using objects that are potentially dangerous for example. Oh and keep it private!

You don't say how old you are but I am sure if your friends are doing it that in itself should prove to you that there is nothing wrong with them - or have they all suddenly started wearing glasses and walking around with a wierd look on their faces?
