I don't know if you can call them traitors but they certainly are a slimy group. Murtha and Kennedy voted for the war and Hanoi Jane began renouncing her previous positions about four years ago when it was clear that people did not care for her anymore. However, just recently she showed up at an anti war rally but said she was there to support the troops by bringing them home. They are simply political opportunists no different than the excessive flag waving officials who use issues such as this for personal gain. Kennedy is probably the most useless elected official in America.

Yes...in a way. Attitudes and misconceptions of what we face if we pull out of Iraq are insurmountable.
Do yourself a favor and watch this video of 3 former terrorists who are now practicing tolerance. I only wish that Murtha, Fonda, Kennedy and all of the Congress would see this. It's going to give you a real education.

I would definently say so. Take Jane Fonda. The vietnamese commander said that if it wasnt for her they were ready to give up. She provided moral support to the enemy, Its the same proble with the rest of the liberals.

How do you mention Murtha and Jane Fonda in the same breath?
Your sole criterion for patriotism must be shutting up and gratefully eating whatever feces you're handed in your rations.

Of course not. They just don't agree with people on your side of the fence. Nothing wrong with that at all. Either we live in a democratic society or we don't.
The real traitors are those who want everyone to believe exactly the way they do.

No. But people can easily be convinced otherwise.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Göring while in his jail cell during the Nuremberg Trials

No not at all. Democracy thrives on difference of opinion. Totalitarianism thrives on people marching in lockstep with their leaders.
You have obviously been listening to conservative hate radio.
Hermann Goering, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister said; “Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger”.

No. They are exercising their first amendment rights, just like you are by asking that question. Trying to please everyone is where people get into trouble. . .
You don't agree that is fine. But I think they are more patriotic because they stand up for their beliefs and don't follow a supposed leader blindly. . .
